Operating Hours and Seasons
All public buildings are closed in observance of the following federal holidays: New Year's Day (January 1), Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day (December 25). November through April, all park buildings are closed for the off season, including restroom facilities. Restoom facilities are closed on the following Federal Holidays (observed) in 2024: Monday May 27, Monday September 2, Monday October 14.
2024 Seasonal Hours and Visitor Services
Weir Farm's season runs through the end of October. All buildings will close for the season on November 1.
Burlingham House Visitor Center
Open Wednesday- Sunday, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Weir House and Studios
Wednesdays to Sundays, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
Weir House Tours begin on the hour and are offered at 11:00, 12:00, 1:00. 2:00, and 3:00, Wednesdays through Sundays. Tours meet on the front porch of the Weir House and are first come, first served. No reservation or sign up required.
The Weir and Young Studio are open for pop-in tours from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Programs are subject to staff and volunteer availability. Buildings may close due to extreme weather or air quality conditions.
Restrooms
Open daily, 7 days a week, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm (with the exception of the following Monday federal holidays: Memorial Day - May 27, Labor Day - September 2, Indigenous Peoples Day - October 14)

The Park has many of self-guiding options for visitors, including maps, brochures, self-guided tours, the National Park Passport Stamp, and Junior Ranger activities located on the porch of the visitor center 7 days a week. We also have awesome virtual content including virtual tour videos, art galleries, the park film, virtual exhibits, an online Junior Ranger program with a Park Ranger swear-in video, available here on our website.
Dogs: You are welcome to walk your dog at Weir Farm National Historical Park and the Weir Preserve, the 110-acre network of hiking trails directly adjacent to the property, as long as it remains leashed. Please pick up after your pet - a pet waste station is located in the parking lot, at the Weir Pond trailhead, and behind the Burlingham Barn/Restrooms.
